Containerised LFP · Made in India
Technology Built for India's Grid
Every Vaayum Energy system integrates a full stack of proven subsystems — PCS, BMS, EMS, liquid cooling, fire suppression, and AI monitoring — packaged in a weatherproof containerised format ready for rapid deployment across India's grid-scale, commercial, and industrial sites.
What We Deliver
A Complete Energy Storage Solution
Vaayum Energy designs and manufactures containerised Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) based on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry. Each unit ships from our Hyderabad facility fully integrated — meaning site teams connect power and communications, not individual cells or racks.
Our systems are engineered to handle India's wide climate range — from the humid coasts of Andhra Pradesh to the high-temperature plains of Rajasthan — without sacrificing cycle life or safety margins.
Whether you need peak shaving for a data centre, frequency regulation for a grid operator, or storage firming for a solar farm, a single platform covers the full spectrum of use cases.

Subsystems
Built-In Technology Capabilities
Every Vaayum Energy BESS unit arrives with six integrated subsystems — no third-party assembly, no integration risk.
AI-Enabled Monitoring
Continuous AI-driven analytics surface degradation trends, predict maintenance windows, and flag anomalies before they become faults — delivering higher availability and lower total cost of ownership over the system's lifetime.
Battery Management System (BMS)
Our BMS monitors every cell in real time — tracking voltage, temperature, and state of charge — to maximise cycle life, protect against faults, and ensure safe operation across the system's 15+ year service life.
Energy Management System (EMS)
The EMS orchestrates dispatch, grid interaction, and demand optimisation. It provides operators with a single control plane for scheduling, reporting, and integration with renewable generation assets.
Fire Suppression
An integrated fire detection and suppression system provides automatic response to thermal events, protecting both the installation and surrounding infrastructure with minimal manual intervention.
Liquid Cooling
Active liquid cooling maintains optimal cell temperatures regardless of ambient conditions, protecting capacity retention and enabling consistent performance through India's varied seasonal and regional climates.
Power Conversion System (PCS)
The PCS handles bi-directional AC/DC conversion, enabling precise charge and discharge control. It is designed for high efficiency across the wide operating temperatures typical of Indian climates.

Applications
Where Our Systems Work
Commercial & Industrial (C&I)
Factories, data centres, and large commercial facilities use our storage systems to shift loads, reduce peak demand charges, and maintain operations through grid outages without relying on diesel backup.
EV Charging Infrastructure
High-power EV charging hubs pair with BESS to meet fast-charging demand spikes without requiring expensive grid capacity upgrades, accelerating the buildout of India's EV charging network.
Grid-Scale Storage
Utility operators deploy Vaayum Energy BESS to store excess renewable generation, provide frequency regulation, and deliver peak capacity — stabilising grids as India adds more solar and wind to the mix.
Renewables Firming
Solar and wind developers co-locate Vaayum Energy storage to firm their generation profiles, meet round-the-clock supply obligations, and capture more value from their renewable assets.

Chemistry Choice
Why Lithium Iron Phosphate?
Inherent Safety
LFP chemistry does not contain cobalt or nickel — the elements most prone to thermal runaway. The iron-phosphate bond is chemically stable at high temperatures, making LFP the safest lithium-ion variant for grid-scale and commercial deployments.
Built for India's Climate
LFP cells tolerate the elevated ambient temperatures found across India's geographies far better than NMC or NCA alternatives. Combined with our active liquid cooling, capacity retention stays high even in peak-summer conditions.
8,000–10,000 Cycles
Our LFP systems target 8,000 to 10,000 full cycles at standard depth of discharge — translating to a design service life exceeding 15 years. That longevity directly reduces the total cost of ownership versus shorter-lived chemistries.
Supply Chain Resilience
Iron and phosphate are abundantly available globally, reducing exposure to the commodity price volatility that affects cobalt-rich chemistries — a critical factor for long-term project economics and India's energy security.
