Where We Are Building

Manufacturing in Hyderabad

Vaayum Energy's manufacturing facility will be established in Hyderabad, Telangana — one of India's fastest-growing engineering, logistics, and clean-energy corridors. The exact site is being finalised; what is fixed is the city and the conviction behind it: deep engineering talent, strong logistics networks, and proximity to India's growing renewable energy procurement market.

The facility is purpose-built for LFP battery energy storage manufacturing, incorporating dedicated production lines, quality assurance laboratories, and integrated testing infrastructure that lets us validate complete BESS units before they leave the factory floor.

From this single campus, we plan to serve utility operators, commercial and industrial customers, EV charging network developers, and renewable energy project developers across the country — and, over time, across South and South-East Asia.

  1. Facility Establishment

    Construction and fit-out of the Vaayum Energy manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana — incorporating production lines, quality assurance labs, and integrated testing infrastructure.

  2. Phase 1 Launch — 5 GWh/yr

    Planned

    April 2027

    Hard launch of the initial 5 GWh per year manufacturing capacity, marking the beginning of commercial LFP BESS production for grid-scale, C&I, and EV charging customers across India.

  3. Scale to 15 GWh/yr

    April 2031

    Capacity expansion to 15 GWh per year, positioning Vaayum Energy as a leading domestic manufacturer of battery energy storage systems and supporting India's accelerating clean energy transition.

World-class manufacturing requires world-class automation. Our facility deploys robotic assembly systems for cell stacking, module integration, and pack assembly — minimising human error, maximising throughput, and maintaining the tight tolerances that LFP cell chemistry demands.

Thermal management infrastructure — including the active liquid cooling lines that protect every BESS unit in the field — is built and tested end-to-end within the same facility, so the system that leaves our floor is the system the customer receives.

India's 500 GW renewable energy ambition by 2030 demands a domestic storage supply chain that can match the pace of solar and wind deployment. Vaayum Energy is building that supply chain — so India's clean energy transition is powered by Indian hands, Indian innovation, and Indian capital.

We are aligned with the Government of India's Production Linked Incentive (PLI) goals for Advanced Chemistry Cell batteries, and our facility design reflects the standards that will define the next generation of domestic energy storage manufacturing.
